About me
Pete has extensive experience working with people of all ages across a variety of cultures and settings. He specializes in supporting adolescents and young adults in managing mental health crises, developing understanding of their strengths, and applying those strengths to not only overcome obstacles but to become the best possible versions of themselves. Pete believes that people naturally move closer to well-being and self-fulfillment when their needs are met. Understanding and meeting those needs often takes work. Pete’s experience working in family, foster care, residential, academic, medical, military, and other settings with individuals with a variety of substance use and mental health challenges has equipped him to support people who are undertaking that journey. There is room in his sessions for all of your experiences, be they saddening, uplifting, frightening, funny, angering, confusing, or all of the above.

"When we are no longer able to change a situation, we are challenged to change ourselves."
